Our Mission
The Muslim Students’ Association (MSA) at the University of Waterloo seeks to create a community that is open and dynamic, which caters to the best interests of all Muslims on campus. Our main goals are to:
- Provide an Islamic environment for the Muslims at UW
- Raise awareness of Islam among non-Muslims
- Voice the concerns of Muslim students on Campus as an official body to third bodies
We achieve these goals by providing services and support for Muslims on campus, categorized into 3 main functions:
- Worship: Facilitate worship for UW students on and off campus
- Community: Provide a sense of community for students at UW and foster spiritual growth
- Outreach: Help members reach out to other parts of the community and raise awareness
