MSA Executive Elections

As-salamualaikum


The UW MSA is calling for all its members to send in their nominations for the following MSA executive positions:

PRESIDENT

VICE-PRESIDENT, BROTHERS

VICE-PRESIDENT, SISTERS

SECRETARY

TREASURER

EDUCATION OFFICER

PUBLIC RELATIONS OFFICER


Generally, anyone who has been an executive or director in the past four terms can be nominated for an executive role. The wall of leaders can be found at: http://uwmsa.com/leaders/Wall_of_Leaders.htm. The current MSA executives can be found here.

Other rules you MIGHT care about:

1) You cannot nominate yourself.

2) You cannot nominate more than one person for a single role.

3) You can leave some roles blank if you don't know who to nominate.

4) Your Presidency nominee must have been a Vice-President previously.

For detailed descriptions of the positions above, please review Articles XI - XVI (11 - 16) of the MSA Constitution.

1) Nominations Period - Deadline: Monday, April 30th @ 11:59pm 


We now accept nominations for executive team candidates through an online form. The nomination form can be found here.

Please note that you do not have to nominate candidates for every position above. Any nomination submissions sent after the deadline above will NOT be accepted. In your nomination submission, please be sure to provide your correct UW email address.


2) Candidate Info Postings - Saturday, May 5th

All Candidates' Information will be posted on the MSA website here so the general body may review each Candidate's detail.


3) General Body Meeting & Elections! - Tuesday, May 8th

Elections will take place during the GBM and the results will be announced towards the end of the meeting. Please bring your WATCARD with you to vote in the Elections.
